Diese junge Band kommt aus Neuquen im südlichen Teil von Argentinien. Dort und im Ort General Roca in der Nähe gibt es eine fanatische Metal Szene. Da die Leute dort noch weniger Geld haben als in Buenos Aires können die meisten gar nichts, oder nicht sehr professionell aufnehmen. Die Jungs von DOCTRINA kamen 1996 zusammen, und nach einigen Wechseln nahmen sie 2001 ein Demo mit 12 Tracks auf, das schon gute Aufnahmequalität hatte. Die Musik ist guter melodischer traditioneller Metal, der sehr abwechslungsreich ist. Dannach gab es wieder einige Wechsel, und nur Sänger Miguel Moreira und Lead Gitarrist Ricardo Gutierrez waren noch dabei. Mit 3 neuen Leuten nahmen sie 2004 ihr richtiges Album auf. Dieses baut ihre Qualitäten noch aus, und ist etwas neoklassischer in der Gitarrenarbeit ausgefallen. Leider hat das Geld für eine richtige gepresste CD wohl nicht gereicht. Es ist eine bedruckte CD-R, aber sehr professionell, mit schönem Booklet.

This young band comes from Neuquen in the southern part of Argentinien. There and in the neighbouring town of General Roca exist a fanatic Metal scene. People there have even less money than in Buenos Aires, and could not record their material at all, or only in less quality. The guys of DOCTRINA came together in 1996, and after some changes they recorded a 12 track demo in 2001.in surprisingly good recording quality. The music is good traditional melodic Metal, and very diverse. There happened more changes in the band, and only singer Miguel Moreira and lead guitarrist Ricardo Gutierrez were left. With 3 new members they recorded the first album in 2004. This improved the quality of the band even more. The guitar work is this time a bit more in neoclassical style. Very promising band! Seems the money was not sufficiant to make a real manufacture pressing. It is a printed CD-R, but nicely done, with a real booklet.
