SERPENTOR sind eine der wenigen Vertreter des traditionellen Thrash in Argentinien! Schon ihr erstes Album knüppelt richtig gut los, und sie haben darauf schon einen richtigen eigenen Stil! Diese CD war aber total schwer zu finden, und ich habe sie nie in den speziellen Läden im Zentrum von Buenos Aires gesehen! Sie sind aus Rafael Castillo, ausserhalb der Stadt, und waren wohl nur dort bekannt! Nur ein Freund von dort brachte mich in Kontakt mit ihnen, und liess mich erahnen, wieviele interessant Bands wohl noch in den Vororten unentdeckt schlummern! Im Jahre 2004 bekamen sie aber einen Vertrag für das zweite Album, und dieses Label brachte auch noch mal das erste Album mit einem Bonus Track heraus. Nun bekommt man die CDs auch in der City, und der Name der Band wird langsam bekannter! Das neue Album erinnert sehr an alte TESTAMENT, und ist sehr gut und knallig produziert. Da bekommt man richtig Lust zum moshen! Andere Thrasher, wie die wieder reformierten LETHAL müssen sich jetzt wohl warm anziehen!

SERPENTOR are one of the few examples of traditional Thrash in Argentina! Already the first album was thrashing straight into your mind! They delivered it with a strong own note! But the CD was very hard to get and I have never seen this CD in the center of Buenos Aires. They are from Rafael Castillo in the outskirts of the city. Only a friend from there brought me in contact with them, and this let me guess how many other interesting bands might be in the suburbs! In the year 2004 they got a contract with a record company, and they released the first album new, with one bonus track. Now you can get the album also in the city, and the name of the band is spreaded slowly. The new album sounds a lot like old TESTAMENT, and the sound is very tight and powerfull produced! After listening there is only one solution: .....mosh, mosh, mosh!! Other Argentinian Thrash bands, like the reformed LETHAL,will have problems to keep up with them!!
