VORAX ist die Band der Brüder Walter (Drumms) und Ruben Martinez (Gitarre), die schon alte Hasen in der Szene sind und die Band 1988 gründeten! Sie hatten zum Anfang noch einen Keyboarder, doch Anfang der 90er machten sie als Trio weiter, und spielten guten 80er Metal im alten Stil! Sie nahmen mehrere Demos auf, doch erst im Jahre 2000 folgt das erste Album! Sie erinnern mich sehr an V8, aber mit eigenständigen Zutaten! 1997 stieg Walter bei ALMAFUERTE als Drummer ein, kam aber 2000 zurück. Dann konnten sie endlich ihr erstes Album einspielen. 2001 eröffnen sie für JUDAS PRIEST. Dannach steigt der Basser Willy von VELOCET bei ihnen ein (nachdem sich seine grossartige Band aufgelöst hatte). Sie spielen Live auch im inneren des Landes. 2005 kommt das nächste Album. Dieses ist eine Nummer schneller und kräftiger, und sehr abwechslungsreich! Ein richtig gutes Stück Metal! An V8 erinnert nicht mehr viel.

VORAX is the band of the brothers Walter (drumms) and Ruben Martinez (guitar), which are already old soldiers in this scene, as they started in the 80s! In the beginning they had a keyboarder, but in the beginning of the 90s they continued as trio, and played good 80s Metal in the old style. They recorded several demos, but only in 2000 followed the first album. They remind me a lot of V8, but with a strong own note! In 1997 Walter joined ALMAFUERTE as new drummer and came back in 2000. In the same year they finally recorded the first album. They opened for JUDAS PRIEST in 2001. Afterwards bass player Willy joined, who camd from VELOCET, which separated. They played a lot live, all over the country. 2005 came the new album. It contains some faster and some more powerful songs. It is very diverse, and does not remind anymore of V8. It`s a real good piece of Metal!
