FARSCAPE sind eine geile neue Retro Thrash Band! Sie spielen den Sound der alten germanischen Thrash Bands wie KREATOR, DESTRUCTION u.s.w.! Sie gründeten sich 1999 als Cover Band, die Songs alter Thrash und Death Metal Helden nachspielten. Im Jahre 2001 brachten sie ihr erstes Demo "Doctrine Sickness" heraus, dies wurde 2002 auch auf einer Split Kassette mit VEXED aus Italien, auf dem deutschen Fan Label "Deathstrike Records" herausgebracht! Sie haben auch schöne old school Namen. Bassist Whipstriker und Gitarrist Poisonhell haben seit 2001 auch noch die Band DIABOLIC FORCE, wo Whipstriker auch singt, und der Gesamtsound mehr in die HELLHAMMER Richtung geht! Hier bei FARSCAPE singt Witchcaptor, dessen Stimme mehr in die Richtung von Mille von KREATOR geht! Das Cover Artwork ist auch genial, der IRON MAIDEN Cover Klassiker, auf Thrash gemacht! Eine Homepage haben sie wohl nicht! Sie haben auch eine Split Demo CD mit ihren beiden Bands darauf herausgebracht.
2005 kam das Album als schön gemachte, auf 500 Stück limitierte LP heraus (incl. 4 Seiten Insert + obi strip)!

FARSCAPE are a cool new Retro Thrash band! They play the sound of the old teutonic Thrash bands like KREATOR, DESTRUCTION and others! They were founded in 1999 as cover band, which played the songs of the old Thrash and Death Metal heroes! In the year 2001 they recorded the first demo "Doctrine Sickness", which was in 2002 also released at a split cassette with VEXED from Italy on the German fan label "Deathstrike Records"!
They have of course nice old school namens. Bass player Whipstriker and guitarist Poisonhell have also since 2001 the band DIABOLIC FORCE together, where Whipstriker sings, and the sound is more in the HELLHAMMER direction! The singer of FARSCAPE is Witchcaptor, who sounds more like Mille from KREATOR! The cover artwork is genius too, the old IRON MAIDEN record cover classic is done in Thrash style! They made also a split demo CD which includes both of their bands! They seem to have no homepage!

O FARSCAPE é uma nova banda de Thrash que soa como as velhas bandas Thrash alemãs (KREATOR, DESTRUCTION, etc.). Eles montaram a banda em 1999, banda cover ainda, e tocavam músicas de seus heróis Thrash e Death. No ano de 2001, gravaram a primeira demo "Doctrine Sickness" que foi lançada também em cassete em 2002 com VEXED da Itália pela gravadora "Deathstrike Records". O baixista Whipstriker e o guitarrista Poinsonhell levavam juntos desde 2001 a banda DIABOLIC FORCE, onde Whipstriker cantava e era numa linha mais HELLHAMMER. O vocalista do FARSCAPE é Withcaptor que parece o Mille do KREATOR. O trabalho de capa é genial também, a velha capa clássica do IRON MAIDEN foi feita no estilo Thrash. Eles fizeram também um split CD que inclui suas bandas pararelas. Parecem não ter homepage
