2003 Bad Signs MCD

Die Entstehung dieser Band ist schon echt seltsam! Der Gitarrist Jean Silvestre hatte einen Freund in der Schweiz, der Regisseur ist, und der ihm anbot bei einem Besuch im Jahre 2000 ein Video zu drehen! Jean hatte aber keine Band, und suchte sich ein paar Bekannte zusammen, und nahm 2 Hard Rock Songs unter dem Namen SNAKE EYES auf! Als der Clip dann gedreht werden sollte stand er schon wieder allein da, und so ist es ein Solo Video geworden, mit dem Song "Forgotten fantasies". Dannach ruhen die musikalischen Aktivitäten erstmal, ehe Jean wieder nach neuen Leuten sucht, die er über Bekannte, und Anzeigen findet. Der Keyboarder Robson Martins gibt sogar seinen Job in einem Orchester im Staate Rio Grand Sul auf, und zieht für SAGITTA nach Sao Paulo! Sie verwenden die alten SNAKE EYES Songs, und machen erstmal härtere Versionen daraus. Sie nehmen 2002 die erste Demo CD auf, die ihnen ganz gute Resonanz in den Medien bringt. Dadurch bekommen sie auch einen Vertrag mit "Hellion Records", und 2004 wird das erste Album und eine Live DVD aufgenommen! Ihre Musik ist typischer melodischer, symphonischer Power Metal, mit leichten progressiven Parts. Noch stechen ihre Kompositionen nicht aus der Masse der Bands heraus, die diesen Stil spielen, aber mal sehen, was die Zukunft bringt!

The beginning of this band from Sao Paulo is really strange! Guitarist Jean Silvestre had a friend in Switzerland, who is cinema director, and who offered him to make a video at a visit in the year 2000! Jean did not have a band, and gathered some friends, to record 2 Hard Rock songs under the name SNAKE EYES! When the clip was finall filmed he was again alone, and so it became his Solo video with the song "Forgotten fantasies". After this it became quiet for a while, till Jean looked again for other band members. He got them together through friends and advertisement. Keyboarder Robson Martins even quit his job at the orchestra in the state Rio Grand Sul, and moved to Sao Paulo for SAGITTA! They used the old SNAKE EYES songs, and changed them to more heavy sound! In 2002 the first 4 track demo CD was recorded, and the reviews in the media were quite good. Through this they got also a contract with "Hellion Records", and in 2004 an album and a live DVD will be recorded. Their music is typical melodic and symphonic Power Metal, with slight progressive parts. Their compositions do not shine through the masses of bands yet, which play this style, but let`s see what the future will bring!

O começo desta banda de São Paulo é bem estranho! O guitarrista Jean Silvestre tinha um amigo na Suiça, que é diretor de cinema, e ofereceu a ele a produção de um vídeo quando de sua visita no ano de 2000. Jean não tinha uma banda ainda e juntou alguns amigos para gravar duas músicas (Hard Rock) sob o nome SNAKE EYES. Quando o clipe foi filmado, ele estava novamente sozinho, tornando-se um vídeo solo com a música "Forgotten fantasies". Depois disto não se ouviu falar muito dele até que Jean resolveu procurar por outros integrantes. Ele os conseguiu através de amigos e anúncios. O tecladista, Robson Martins, até largou seu emprego na orquestra gaúcha e mudou-se para São Paulo! Aproveitaram as músicas antigas do SNAKE EYES, mas deixaram-nas com um som mais pesado. Em 2002, o primeiro CD demo com 4 faixas foi gravado e as críticas na mídia foram muito boas. Através das boas críticas, conseguiram um contrato com a "Hellion Records" e em 2004 um álbum e um DVD ao vivo serão gravados. A música deles é o típico Power Metal sinfônico e melódico, com algumas partes progressivas. Suas composições ainda não se sobressaem tanto ainda, mas vamos ver o que o futuro lhes reserva!
