1999 Lost Between Gods CD

Was für ein schräger Name! Damit fällt man normalerweise ganz schön auf! Trotzdem ist diese Band selbst in Brasilien ziemlich unbekannt. Die Band wurde 1994 in Campos bei Rio von Gitarrist Paulo M. de Graven gegründet. Später stiess Basser Servulo Sotto dazu, der vorher bei den kultigen Bands EXCALIBUR und KALEVALA spielte! Das erste Demo wurde 1996 aufgenommen, aber 1996/97 gab es viele personelle Probleme. 1999 können sie dann ihr Album aufnehmen. Dies ist eine Eigenpressung mit 500er Auflage. Sie spielen darauf progressiven Hard Rock / Metal. Die meisten Stücke sind sehr soft, aber einige sind von etwas härteren Kalibers, und haben super Gitarrenparts! Sie nehmen jetzt gerade ein zweites Album auf welches mehr in die Metal Richtung gehen soll! Es gibt anscheinend noch eine andere brasilianische Band, die sich ZEITGEIST CO. nennt, und aus Curitiba im Süden kommt.

What a strange name! It is made from the german word Zeitgeist (spirit of the age), but written different, may be because other bands use the normal word. This name should struck, but even in Brazil the band is not much known! They were founded in 1994 in Campos close to Rio from guitar player Paulo M. de Graven. Later bass player Servulo Sotto joined, who played before in the old cult bands EXCALIBUR and KALEVALA! The first demo was recorded in 1996, but in 1996/97 there were many personal problems. But in 1999 they managed to record the album. This is an independent production with only 500 copies made. They play progressiven Hard Rock / Metal. Most of the tracks are very soft, but some are played harder, with great guitar parts! They record now a second album and promised to play more in the Metal direction! There seems to be another band in Brazil with the name ZEITGEIST CO. which is from Curitiba in the South

Que nome estranho!!! Ele vem da palavra alemã Zeitgeist, mas escrita diferente, talvez porque outra banda use a palavra normal. Este nome deveria sobressair, mas mesmo no Brasil eles não são muito conhecidos. A banda foi montada pelo guitarrista Paulo M. de Graven em 1994 em Campos, Rio de Janeiro. Mais tarde o baixista Servulo Sotto se juntou à banda (ele havia tocado antes nas bandas EXCALIBUR e KALEVALA!). A primeira demo foi gravada em 1996, mas neste ano e no seguinte tiveram vários problemas pessoais. Em 1999, eles gravaram o primeiro álbum de forma independente e com apenas 500 cópias produzidas. eles tocam um Hard/ Metal progressivo e a maioria das faixas são bem leves, mas algumas são mais Hard e com grande trabalho de guitarras! Eles gravaram agora um segundo álbum e prometem um direcionamento mais Metal. Parece haver uma outra banda brasileira com o nome Zeitgeist Co. de Curitiba
